Ramazan Bayramı’nın ikinci günündeyiz.
Bütün okuyucularımın bayramını kutlarım. Bayramlar, her seviyeden insanımızın heyecanla iştirak ettiği kutsal günlerimizdir. Aynı duyguları paylaşmak, aynı sevinci birlikte duyabilmek, toplum hayatı için önemli bir olaydır.
Bu halleriyle dini bayramlar, aynı zamanda milli birliğimizin birer yapı taşıdırlar. O bakımdan bayramları yaşatmak, geleneğin canlı olarak devam etmesini sağlamak, her birimiz için hem dini hem de milli bir görevdir.
Ramazan boyunca Allah’ın emrine uyarak ve O’nun hoşnutluğu içingündüzleri yiyip içmekten, alışık olduğumuz bir takım adetlerimizden, bazızevklerimizden mahrum kaldık. Oruç ayını başarıyla tamamladık. Ramazanamahsus kulluk görevlerimizi imkan nisbetinde yerine getirmeye çalıştık. Görevini yapmış kişilerin huzuruyla bayram etmek, sevinç ve mutluluk duymak da hakkımızdır.
TATİL
Bayramların bir özelliği de karşılıklı ziyaretlerde bulunmak ve dargınların barışmasıdır.
Bu ziyaretleri küçümsemeyelim.
Son zamanlarda yoğun, iş temposu ve aşırı meşguliyet dolayısıyla, bayramlarda büyük şehirlerin boşalması gibi bir olayla karşılaşıyoruz. Bayramlar sanki sadece bir tatil vesilesi oluyor.
Bu durumun pek hoş olmadığını söylemeliyiz.. Çare nedir? denirse, doğrusu bir şey söylemek zor. Ama herkes enine boyuna düşünüp, bayram geleneğinin devamını imkan ölçüsünde sağlayacak bir formül bulmaya çalışmalıdır.
BAYRAM ALAYI
Osmanlı’da bayram namazlarının özel bir protokolü vardı.
Padişahların bayram namazlarını kılmak için saraydan camiye gidiş ve dönüşleri sırasında yapılan merasime “Bayram Alayı” denirdi. Gidilecek cami genellikle Ayasofya veya Sultan Ahmed camilerinden biri olurdu.
Bayram sabahı sadrazam ve vezirler Ortakapı içine serilen halılara oturarak padişahın haremden çıkmasını beklerlerdi.
Padişah gelip önceden özenle süslenmiş ata biner, devlet ileri gelenleri ona eşlik ederdi.
Saraydan çıkılarak camiye varılır, padişah cami avlusuna girince önden yeniçeri ağası, arkadan kapıcıbaşılar koşarlar, binek taşına geldiğinde padişahın çizmeleri çıkartılır ve özel bir pabuç giydirilirdi. Padişah, caminin Hünkar Mahfilinde önceden serilmiş özel seccadesi üzerinde namaz kılardı.
Namaz bitince yeniçeri ağası vakit kaybetmeden yeniçerileri alarak Bab-ı Hümayun ile Ortakapı arasına dizer ve padişahı karşılamak için hazırlanırdı.
Alay aynı düzen içinde saraya dönerdi. Sadrazam da dahil alaydakiler padişahı Ortakapı’ya kadar uğurlarlar, böylece bayram alayı sona ererdi.
