Suriye’de El Bab’tan şehit haberleri gelmeye devam ediyor. Bundan dolayı içimiz fazlasıyla yanmakta. Şom ağızlıların yaptığı gibi, “Ne işimiz var Suriye’de, El Bab cehennemine askerimizi niçin gönderdik?” diyemeyiz.
Hayat bir mücadeledir. Bu mücadelenin dışında kalırsak devlet olarak yok oluruz.
Güney sınırlarımızın güvenliği Suriye ve Irak topraklarında başlar. Hudutlarımız yolgeçen hanına dönmüştü. IŞİD’lisi, PYD’lisi bize huzur vermiyordu. El Bab’taki varlığımız sebebiyle bu geçişler azaldı. Oralardaki Türkiye düşmanları yok oluncaya kadar kalmalıyız.
Biz bu kavganın dışında kalabilir miydik?
Görünüşe göre hayır. Neden? Büyük güçler Ortadoğu’yu yeniden şekillendirmeye karar vermiş. Yedi düvel orada. En uzun sınıra sahip Türkiye’nin sahada olmaması düşünülemez. Cephede yer almazsak, paylaşım masasında söz hakkımız olmaz.
Amacımız toprak kazanmak değil, kendi sınırlarımızın güvenliğini sağlamaktır.
Uzaktan seyredersek toprak kaybımız bile söz konusudur.
GÜL BAHÇESİ
Ordumuz, askerimiz bugün için vardır.
Evet ölüm acıdır. Yunus Emre’nin dediği gibi: “Bu dünyada bir nesneye yanar içim göynür özüm / Yiğit iken ölenlere gök ekini biçmiş gibi.” Ne var ki “yiğit iken ölenler”, şehitlik şerbetini içerek gözlerini yumuyorlarsa, acılar hafifler. Çünkü şehitlerin “Bir gül bahçesine girercesine” kara toprağa girdiklerine inanıyoruz.
Ölüm bir gerçektir, herkes ölecektir. Vatan ve millet için savaşta ölenlere “şehit” diyoruz. Şehitlik dinimizde ve kültürümüzde son derece yüceltilmiştir. Ayet ve hadislerde şehitlik çokça övülür. İşte bir örnek:
“Allah yolunda öldürülenleri sakın ölü sanmayın. Bilakis onlar diridirler;
Allah’ın, lütuf ve kereminden kendilerine verdikleri ile sevinçli bir halde Rableri yanında rızıklara mazhar olmaktadırlar. (Al-i İmran, 169) Bu sebeple inançlı halkımız, şehit olan yakınları için üzüldükleri kadar, teselli de duyarlar. Savaşlarda şehit veya gazi olmak, inançlı kimse için en büyük mertebedir.
KUTSAL VATAN
Her toprak vatan değildir. Vatan, uğruna şehitlerin kan akıttıkları toprak parçasıdır.
“Toprak, eğer uğrunda ölen varsa vatandır.” Bugün sahip olduğumuz bu cennet vatan, kahraman atalarımızın her karışını kanları ile sulayarak bize emanet ettikleri topraklardır.
Hatırladığım kadarıyla Cumhuriyetten bu yana, kendi irademizle Kıbrıs çıkarması hç sınırlarımız dışına uzun süreli asker göndermedik. Büyük devlet olmanın her zaman riskleri vardır. Milletçe bunları göze almazsak yaşama hakkını kaybederiz.
Şehitlerimize rahmet dilerim. Onları “cennette açmış güller” olarak göreceğimizden şüphemiz yoktur. Akif’in dediği gibi onları Peygamberimiz kucaklayacaktır:
“Ey şehid oğlu şehid, isteme benden makber/ Sana ağuşunu açmış duruyor Peygamber.”
