Samiha Ayverdi (1905-1993) mutasavvıf bir yazarımızdır. Roman, tarih, monografi, hatıra, mensur şiir türünde 40’tan fazla kitabı vardır (Kubbealtı).
Kendisi yeterince tanınmış değildir. Oysa Nurullah Çetin’e göre Samiha Ayverdi: “Cumhuriyet dönemi Türk romanında birinci sınıf bir yazar olmasına rağmen Haçlı emperyalizminin Türk düşmanı beslemeleri ve Türk’e tuzak kuran ihanet çevreleri tarafından yok sayıldı.”
Bu çabalarına rağmen onu hatırlayanlar da vardır. Vefatının 20. yılında çeşitli yerlerde anma toplantıları yapıldı. Bunlardan biri de 14 Aralıkta Ankara’da Resim ve Heykel Müzesi salonunda gerçekleşen paneldir.
Paneli Türk Kadınları Kültür Derneği (TÜRKKAD) düzenledi. 47 yaşındaki bu dernek S. Ayverdi’nin fikri öncülüğünde Ankara’da kuruldu. Halen 7 şubesiyle hizmet vermektedir. Türk kültürünü, klasik sanatlarımızı, musikimizi yaşatma yolunda çalışmalar yapmaktadır.
Ankara soğuğuna rağmen kalabalık bir dinleyici vardı. Salon, gelenlere yetmedi. Başkan Emine Bağlı açış konuşması yaptı. Benim yönettiğim panelde 4 konuşmacı vardı. İlki Doç. Zekeriya Başkal. “Hatıraları Hayallerinden Güzel Bir Hanımefendi: Samiha Ayverdi” kitabının yazarı.
Başkal genç, aydınlık kafalı, rahat konuşan bir bilim adamı. S. Ayverdi’nin üslubundan, dilinin güzelliğinden örnekler verdi.
Türkiye siyasi bakımdan sömürge olmadı. Ama korkunç bir kültür emperyalizmine maruz kaldık. Ayverdi’nin bütün derdi bununla mücadele idi. Z. Başkal bunu çok iyi yakalamış. Kitabında şöyle bir tespiti var: “Kültür emperyalizmi, sömürgecilik, milletin sadece günü ve geleceğini etkilemez. Aynı zamanda milletin geçmişini de “çarpıtır, bozar, tahrip eder.”
İşte Ayverdi bu bozulma ve tahribe karşı koyan, bunu tersine çevirmek için didinen, haykıran bir yazardır.
2. konuşmacı genç bir edebiyat akademisyeni: Emine Gözde Özgürel. Yaptığı hacimli yüksek lisans çalışması kitaplaştı: “Samiha Ayverdi’nin Romancılığı”
Gözde Hanın Ayverdi’nin roman dili üzerinde durdu. İnsanın manevi arayışının İslam tasavvufu temelinde gelişen çizgisine değindi. Ayverdi’nin, romanlarıyla tasavvufu yeniden canlandırdığını ve güncellediğini söyledi. Yazarın fikirlerinin Mesnevi’deki dayanaklarından örnekler verdi.
3. konuşmacı Dr. Cangüzel Zülfikar tarih eğitimi aldı. Tasavvuf tarihimizin önemli şahsiyetleri üzerinde duran bir araştırmacı. Uzun yıllar Amerika’da bu konularda dersler verdi. Panelde duygu yoğunluklu bir konuşma yaptı. S. Ayverdi’nin Kur’an ahlakını yaşayan abide bir insan olduğunu söyledi. Buna dair şahit olduğu yaşanmış örnekler verdi.
Son konuşmacı Cemalnur Sargut, her zamanki karizmasıyla hitap etti. “S. Ayverdi’de Aşk” konusunu anlattı. Ayverdi’nin “Hancı” kitabından örnekler verdi.
Panelden sonra Laedri Topluluğu Tasavvuf musikisi ziyafeti sundu. Elif Ömürlü Uyar, Emre Ömürlü ve korodan dinlenen parçalarla ruhlar yıkandı, gönüller aydınlandı. (Panel videosu: Türkkad İstanbul: Filmler)
