Doğan Cüceloğlu Amerika’da psikoloji tahsil etmiş bir bilim ve fikir adamı. Anadolu insanının irfanına hayrandır. Bizi biz yapan değerleri günümüz insanına kitapları ve seminerleriyle durmadan anlatmaya devam ediyor. Onu “Damdan Düşen Psikolog” adlı kitabından birkaç olay nakledeceğim.
İnsanların ve bizim insanımızın parayla imtihanına dair fikrini anlatırken şöyle der:
“Benim gördüğüm şu oldu; bu parayı kaldırabilecek bir alt yapı, değerler bilinci, yaşam felsefesi gelişmeden para geldi ve paranın gücünü kaldıramadı.
Yönetemedi yani.”
Ardından şu örnekleri verir:
Bunu destekleyecek bir şey de Amerika’da milli piyangolardan ve benzeri şeylerden para çıkmış insanlarla ilgili yapılan bir araştırma. Araştırma sırasında ortaya çıkıyor ki kendisine piyango çıkan çok büyük bir yüzdenin hayatı paramparça olmuş ve çoğu ile konuştukları zaman, “Keşke çıkmasaydı; ailemi kaybettim, arkadaşlarımı kaybettim, çocuklarınım ilişkilerim bozuldu” şeklinde ifadeler kullanıyorlar.
Bence bu toplum için de geçerli.
Yani bir toplumun değerler bilinci, bilinç yapısı, alt yapısı oluşturulmadan sadece paranın gelmesi sıkıntıya yol açar. Bu arada buna da bir örnek vereyim: Yakın geçmişte Adana’da çiftçiler çok para kazanmaya başladıklarında ne yaptılar? Adana’da birdenbire kültür sarayları, spor merkezleri, okullar açılmadı.
Gece kulüpleri çoğaldı. Hayat kadınları çoğaldı. O gece kulüplerinde para harcayan çiftçilerin sayısı çoğaldı. Bir sürü aile faciaları oldu.
“Neden?” diye sorar Cüceloğlu ve kendince şu cevabı verir: Çünkü o bilinçteki bir insan çok para kazanıyor ve adamın dünyaya bakış tarzında bir değişiklik yok, sadece daha fazla güç vermiş oluyorsun eline. Yani bu bir onbaşıyı general yapmaya benzer. Birdenbire o bilinçteki, o düzeydeki bir insanın eline kocaman bir güç veriyorsun. Şımarır. Ne yapacağını şaşırır. Onun için sonradan görme diyorlar.
SU GEMİNİN İÇİNE GİRMEMELİ
Doğan Cüceloğlu bu meselenin temelindeki eksikliği modern söylemle, “.. bu parayı kaldırabilecek bir alt yapı, değerler bilinci, yaşam felsefesi geliştirmek”ten söz eder. Bunun ete kemiğe bürünmüş yolu bizim kültür geleneğimizde vardır.
Evet, yaşamak hayatı devam ettirebilmek için paraya, maddeye ihtiyaç vardır. Ama insan kolayca maddi zenginliğin esiri olabilir. Bulunca daha fazlasını ister. Zenginliğin yönetilmesi ciddi bir iştir. Bunun için bir iç eğitimi gerekir.
Bizdeki tasavvuf kültürü bu manevi eğitimi verir, paranın köleliğinden kurtulmanın yollarını gösterir. İnsanı bir gemiye; maddeyi, dünyayı, parayı da denize benzetirsek, Hz. Mevlana’nın ifadesiyle; geminin yüzmesi için su lazımdır, fakat su geminin içine (kalbe) dolarsa gemi batar. Geminin batması demek, insanın manen değersizleşmesi demek. Hatta verilen örneklerde olduğu gibi, maddi bakımdan da bazen hayatın kararması söz konusudur.
İyi insan, iyi bir müslüman her türlü maddi, sınai, ticari faaliyet ve çalışmanın içinde bulunabilir, bulunmalıdır.
Ancak hiçbir zaman mala, paraya, servete taparcasına bağlı olmamalıdır. Gemi örneğininden hareket edersek, para cebimizde olmalı, onu kalbimize kadar sokmamalıyız.
Taparcasına paraya ve maddi imkanlara bağlanmamlıyız.
Şüphesiz bu bir iç eğitimini gerektirir.
