Başlık, her yıl bir uzun hikaye kitabı çıkaran Mustafa Kutlu’nun son eserinin adı (Dergah yayını, 2018).
Yazar Sevinci Bulmak’ta “dış dünyanın hücumuna karşı kitapların dünyasına sığınan” Suna ile Elif’i anlatır. Suna Tanpınar hayranı bir akademisyendir; Elif onun dert ortağı, sırdaşıdır.
Hikaye bu ikilinin hayatlarına giren insanların, yaşadıkları aşkların, ayrılıklarının, uğradıkları hayal kırıklarının, hüzünlerinin anlatılmasıyla şekillenir.
Akademisyen Suna’nın hidayet yolculuğu bir dağ köyünde sona erer.

Sevincini Bulmak’ın arka planında İstanbul, Türkoloji camiası, sanat ve edebiyat çevreleri konuşulur. Eser, üniversite ve akademinin iç yüzünü, son on yıl içinde büyük bir ilgi gören Tanpınar gerçeğini ve İstanbul’un nasıl görülüp gezilebileceğini anlatan bir hikayedir.

Mahalle medeniyet ile kültürün, milletin asırlar içinde süzüp aldığı ilkelere, tecrübeye, acı ve sevince, ahlaka, mimari ve estetiğe, adalet ve merhamete, hizmet ve hürmete, devlet ile münasebete dayanan bağımsız bir birim idi.

Hakim sermaye ve hakim kültürün, emperyalizmin, onun yerli ortaklarının alafranga dayatmasına ve baskısına dayanamadı, aşağılandı, küçümsendi ve yıkıldı. Yerine ne kondu?

Kimliksiz ve kişiliksiz, birlikten ve dayanışmadan habersiz, yerli ve milli olana düşman, bireye ve onun nefsani arzularına dayanan apartmanlar, AVM’ler, siteler. Birbirini tanımayan, sevmeyen, saymayan insanlar; horozdan korkan çocuklar.

Birlikte yaşamayı reddedip ferdi hayatı seçenler özgür olduklarını sanıyorlardı. Böylece zokayı yuttular; sermayenin tüketim ekonomisine esir düştüler.

MODERNİTE

Mekan eskilerin hayatında nasıl böyle köklü bir yer tutmuş? Mekanı vatan bellemişler sanki. Oysa bizim nesiller bir yere bağlanmama hususunda anlaşmış gibidir, ne kadar çok gezersen o kadar yaşıyorsun. Tuhaf.

Bunu tarım toplumunun toprağı kutsal bilip ona bağlanması ile açıklayabilir miyiz?

Bilmiyorum. Ama şurası kesindir. Topraktan kopan insanoğlu bir daha o aşk ile başka bir şeye bağlanamadı.

Eşya ile “kullan at” ilişkisi başladı. Her şeyi hızla tüketiyoruz artık, belki bu yüzden insan doyumsuz, huzursuz, bencil, nobran ve dengesiz. Kimse kimseye güvenmiyor. Bankalarla kapı kilitlerinin ardına saklanıyor. Endişe her yanda kol geziyor.

İSTANBUL’U GEZMEK

Fetih kelimesinin anlamları içinde ‘açmak, açılmak’ da vardır. Bu şehirden (İstanbul’dan) kendini size açmasını istiyorsanız, öncelikle onun manevi fatihlerine karşı görevlerinizi yerine getirmeniz gerekir. Eyüp Sultan ziyaretinden sonra sur dışında yatan sahabelerin, evliyaların, şehitlerin mezarları, türbeleri gezilecek, dualar edilecek. Daha sonra ceddimizin şehre girdiği kapılardan birinden, mesela Edirnekapısı’ndan geçebiliriz. Yolumuz kah bir camiye kah bir tekkeye, bazan da bir çeşmeye uğrayabilir. Böylece İstanbul, onun gerçek sahiplerinin izinden bize ağır ağır açılmaya başlar.
