Mütefekkir yazarımız Samiha Ayverdi (1905-1993) kendisine yazılan hiçbir mektubu cevapsız bırakmazdı. Uzun ömrü boyunca devam eden bu mektuplaşmaların bir kısmı kitaplaştı. Bu serinin son kitaplarından biri ‘Mektuplar-8’ adını taşır (Kubbealtıneşriyatı, 2019). İçinde Samiha Ayverdi’nin Özcan Ergiydiren’e yazdığı irili ufaklı 50 mektup yer alır. Özcan Ergiydiren imzalı mektuplar ise 32 civarındadır.

Özcan Ergiydiren (d. 1936) Manisalı bir mimardır. Daha önce çıkan ‘Hayali CihanDeğer’ adlı hatıra kitabında olduğu gibi, buradaki mektupları da duygu ve sanat yüklü olup, Türkçemizin en güzel örnekleri arasında yer almaya layıktır.

HİZMET AŞKI
Ayverdi’nin bu seriden ilk kitabı çıktığı zaman ‘Mektupla irşat’ başlıklı bir yazı yazmıştım. İrşat örneği burada da devam eder. Ayverdi dinamik, hamleci ve hizmet aşkıyla doludur. Sevenlerini de buna teşvik eder, der ki: “Zira yaşamadan gaye vemaksat, bence hizmet ve himmettir.
‘Muhit kısır, insanlar taş gibi..’demek, asla bir mazeret olamaz. Sırasında kayaların üstünde bile ot,hatta ağaç biter.”

O hep ümitli olmuştur, Ergiydiren’e1963’te şunları yazar yazar: “… insanlıkalemine beka ve selamet mukarrer(kesin) ise mucizeli bir zuhur olup‘Cemal’ tecellisi ‘Celal’i ezerek dünyanınyüzünü güldürecek. Şu haldebize düşen, elimizi kolumuzu bırakıpteslim olmak değil, ‘Mudil’ isminin‘Hadi’ ismi altında zebun olması içingayret sarf etmektir.”

GÜZEL GÜNLER YAKIN
Özcan Bey’in şahsında bütün evlatlarına yaptığı telkin ne müthiştir! Bu motivasyonla insan yerinde duramaz hale gelebilir: “Yürüdüğünüz yolun dikenlerini inşallah Cenab-ı Hak sizlerin eliyle kaldıracak ve hidayet yolcuları arkanızı takip edecektir. Çok şükür o gün yaklaştı. Nifak ve şirkin vatan ve iman düşmanlığının mat ve perişan olacağı zaman uzak olmasa gerek. Yeter ki, biz nefsimize uymayalım, tavrımızı, tutumumuzu değiştirmeyelim ve biz Hak hakikat yolcusuna düşen ihlas salabet (metin olma), azim ve sebatla gerçeklerin öncülüğünü edelim.”

Genellikle gidişattan şikayetçiyizdir. Ayverdi meseleyi kökünden çözecek çareyi gösterir: “Bugün Türk cemiyetine lazımolan, evvel emirde (en başta), vicdani,ahlaki, tarihi, milli ve dini prensipleritanımak ve bunları, içtimai bünyeiçinde, işler ve yaşar hale getirecekmerkezler kurmak, böylece de ‘insan’yetiştirmektir.”

ZİKİR AMAÇ DEĞİL ARAÇ
Samiha Ayverdi, İslam Tasavvufu’nu iyi bilen ve yaşayan biriydi. Tarikatlerde bir takım zikirler vardır. Bugün bunların en bilineni Mevlevi semaıdır. Onun dışında, aslına uygun icra edilen Rifai, Halveti ve Kadiri zikirleri de çok coşkuludur. Onun için meraklıları fazladır. Ayverdi’nin bu konudaki değerlendirmesi şöyledir:

“Zikir olsun, sema olsun, binsenelik tarihimiz boyunca, sohbet vemuhabbet çatılarının altında icra edildiğiölçüde, yüreklerde yumuşamayave gevşemeye yol açmış ve kütleye,kendi kendine dönüş, murakabe, muhasebekapılarını aralamıştır. Yoksa,zikir de, sema da, bir gönül zevki ilemanalanmadıktan sonra, şekil vesuretten ibaret kalır.”

Yazarımıza göre çeşitli zikirler bir tür avaletidir. Bunlar musikisi, estetik görüntüsüve coşkusuyla insanları yakalayan bir türöksedir (tuzak). Yani sözünü ettiğimiz zikirleramaç değil araçtır. Ayverdi’nin diliyle:
“Gerçek dervişlik ise kalp tasfiyesi (arınma) ve nefis tezkiyesidir (temizlenme).”
