Başlık bir kitap adı, yazarı M. Uğur Derman (Kubbealtı neşriyatı, 2019). 2 güzel kelime: Ömür ve Bereket. Ömür, hayattan farklı ve daha zengin sayılır. Kubbealtı Lugati’ne göre bereket “Allah’tan gelen hayrın bir nesnede görünmesi ve devam etmesi, artıp çoğalması, Tanrı ihsanı, nimet demek.”
84 yaşındaki Uğur Derman kültür ve sanat dünyamızın vazgeçilmezlerinden biridir. Kadim kültürümüzü edebiyatı ve tarihiyle bilen biridir. Özellikle hat, ebru ve süsleme sanatlarına vakıf olup, bu sahalardaki birikimini her yerde ve her fırsatta yazıya aktarmıştır. Dili ve üslubu zengindir yazılarında bir münasebet düşürüp en nadide beyit ve şiirleri serpiştirerek ifadesini bir kat daha güzelleştirir.
Hat sanatı ve malzemeleriyle ilgili birçok kitabı çıktı. Kendisi zevk-i selim sahibi olduğundan kitapları baskı, kağıt ve sayfa düzeni bakımından en üst seviyededir. Bazı eserleri Arapça, İngilizce, Fransızca ve Japonca’ya çevrilmiş prestij kitaplarıdır.
KALİTELİ BASKI
Kubbealtı tarafından aynı itina ile basılan “Ömrümün Bereketi” serisinde, Uğur Derman’ın 1961’den bu yana çeşitli yerlerde çıkmış makaleleri yer almaktadır. 50 yazıdan ibaret olan birinci kitap 4 baskı yaptı. 36 makaleden oluşan 515 sayfalık Ömrümün Bereketi-2’de hat sanatıyla ilgili “kalem, mürekkeb, kağıd gibi hayli geniş tutulmuş bahisler yanında”, yazarın tanıdığı değerli kimselere ait yazılara da yer verilmiştir. Çok kaliteli hatlar ve çeşitli resimlerle kitap bir görsel şölen de sunmaktadır.
Uğur Bey, “yüksek İstanbul hayatını şahsiyeti, duruşu, giyimi, lisanı, müktesebatı ve derin uzmanlık bilgisi ile temsile layık bir beyefendidir.” Bütün eserleri gibi bu kitabı da “çoğu sanat kitaplarında gördüğümüz renksiz ve teknik anlatımdan uzak, son derece tatlı, derin ve kolay okunur bir Türkçe ile” karşımıza çıkar.
KÜLTÜR TAŞIYICISI
Onun en büyük hizmeti Osmanlı’nın son dönemine ait sanat, fikir ve edebiyat adamlarından faydalanması ve devraldığı kültür mirasını günümüze aktarmasıdır. Burada sözü Beşir Ayvazoğlu’na bırakıyorum:
“Sadece hat sanatı hakkında değil, kültürümüzün hemen her alanında ustalıkla kalem oynatan Uğur Bey, Mahir İz, Celal Ökten, Fuat Şemsi İnan, Necati Lugal, Sıtkı Karababa, Yusuf Cemil Ararat A. Süheyl Ünver, Necmeddin Okyay ve (Ekrem Hakkı Ayverdi) gibi bu kültürü en üst seviyede temsil eden son Osmanlılarla tanışmış, onlardan feyiz almış, bazılarının da talebesi olmuştu. Özellikle Hezarfen Necmeddin Okyay, ona Osmanlı estetik dünyasının kapılarını ardına kadar açmıştır. Bayrağı onlardan devralarak yok olmaya yüz tutmuş bir kültürü gelecek nesillere taşımaya çalışan fedakar insanlar arasında Uğur Beyin çok ayrı bir yeri vardır.”
